As I sit here looking for a bigger 5 pt harness carseat for Ryleigh I thought about this video I recieved awhile back and wanted to share. This opened my eyes to the importance of the 5 pt harness carseats and I hope it will open all my readers eyes as well. This is sad and would never wish this upon anyone! I for one will be keeping Ryleigh in a 5 pt harness for a long time!!

25 random things that most people don't know about me... Ok guys here goes.. I know this is going to be a tough one.. 1. I am originally from York, Pennsylvania, I have 2 brothers and 1 sister. 2. I moved around ALOT when I was young.. I went to 4 elementary schools, 1 middle school and 3 different high schools.. It was very tough on me since I don't make friends easily. 3. I love healthy foods but I also love unhealthy food as well... I love all types of food I will try anything once and I normally end up liking it.. I don't have many foods that I don't like..but Pimento cheese disgusts me. 4. I went to Forsyth tech for about a year to go into computer programming. Never finished.. 5. Well this morning we are all in a hustle bustle (this is every morning) to get out of the house and get to work, summer camp and daycare on time... We manage to accomplish it this morning!! So I thought! Rob took Ryleigh to daycare on his way to work, he calls me and says it must be Pajama day at school because all the kids have on there pj's!! Not Ryleigh though... I swear I had no idea! no one mentioned this to me yesterday so of course I feel so bad! I was almost half way to work when turned around.. I get to the house go through her Pj drawer and find her strawberry shortcake "dress jammie's" as she calls them soo cute and her little pink bunny slippers.. I run back out of the door and head to daycare, walking in thinking I'm SOOO late for work! I walk in her classroom and she sees me and lights up and is sooo excited! She started taking off her dress right then in there! I took her to an empty class right next door and changed her. She said I forgot my jammie

Happy Monday!! I had a pretty eventful weekend this weekend.. It started on Friday morning.. Makennas summer care program took all the kids to Carowinds on Friday (they do this every summer from what I hear) and so I decided I'm going too, along with a good friend of mine Monica and her daughter Chloe who also goes to brookstown for the summer. Well we get to the church on Friday morning prepared to ride the charter bus everyone excited and ready to go until the one teacher said something about the tickets!! TICKETS!! Monica turns to me and says OH CRAP I forgot my tickets at home! I thought she was joking!! Nope she sure wasn't!! so we ended up driving which I thought worked out better anyway.. Has anyone been on a bus with about 30 kids?? I have and its not very fun to me anyway.. SO we go get her tickets real quick and still make it to Carowinds 10 mins after opening, we also were able to stay about and hour later than the buses as well.. We had a ball.. My daughter is a dar

Except this time its for the class of 1988... Yep 88! Rob (my husband) graduated from South Stokes in 1988 wow hes getting old!! HAHA, I got the mail yesterday and there was an invitation to his reunion, it will be held at Shelton Vineyard in Dobson. I guess we will go even though I will feel very akward because I will be so YOUNG (hehe) and know noone!! Rob was actually supposed to graduate from North Forsyth but he told me that South Stokes had a successful football team so he decided to transfer his senior year talk about dedication geez... He was the QB football player for North Forsyth and South and I think if I remember correctly South won some championship that year as well.. Doesnt sound like the football team I remember! hahahah anyway we will see what happens...

This past weekend was a busy one... My grandfather and Sandy came in late Thursday night from Pennsylvania for the weekend. Of course we thourghly enjoyed his company! We love spending time with family! My little niece Hayden turned 1! So we had her party to go to, Wow all the girls are growing up.. I have 3 nieces and 2 girls of my own and cant believe how fast they are all growing! I also found out yesterday that my brother is going to be a daddy again!! so that will make 6 grandbabies for my mom.... 5 of which are girls! so we will see if we can get that boy this time!! We will see!! also wanted to say HAPPY 30th Birthday Jennifer!!!!

Well as you all know the girls went to the dentist yesterday and they both did sooo good!! Makenna and Ryleigh both had x-rays of there teeth and Ryleigh sat up there like a big girl grinning ear to ear because they were "taking pictures" of her teeth.. Makenna did great as usual and no cavities for either one YIPPEE! We got to Dr. Merhoff and Cummings in Winston they are pediatric dentist and we LOVE THEM they are great!! It was once an all female practice and they all look so adorable in there pink scrubs and monogrammed clogs.. (my dream is to be a dental hygienist) but I was informed yesterday they have 1 new male dentist I asked is he wearing pink scrubs too? Erin our hygienist said not yet so we will see... anywho .. So after the dental apt we headed off to Toysrus my niece Hayden is turning 1 on Sunday so I had to pick her up a few things and that was hectic with Ryleigh wanting all the shoes that were on sale!! trying on every pair! She loves her shoes... wond

Since my girls were about 2 I started taking them to the dentist regularly so they would be people who actually dont mind going to the dentist.. I worried that they would freak out so upon advise from magazines and things I took them YOUNG! So today both my girls go for a semi annual cleaning and Ryleigh my youngest cant wait to go !! Both Makenna and Ryleigh dont mind going to the dentist one bit but Ryleigh LOVES to go to the dentist! Monday when I picked her up from school she asked are we going to the Dentist NOW? I had to tell her No 3 more days she got UPSET and wanted to go right then and there! So today is the day she has been waiting for.. LOL she gets double the fun because tomorrow someone is coming to there school to look at there teeth as well.. They tell her when they clean her teeth she is getting shiny princess teeth and who doesnt want princess teeth? Am I right? until another day.....

Well we are back from the beach! It was really nice and relaxing, a little too relaxing now im used to my afternoon naps! anyway we had a blast and Im posting some of my favorite pictures! Our Condo we stayed at was PERFECT!! Ocean front and also the sound behind us! we were steps from the ocean and believe me that was nice!

Well 1 more day of work and 3 more days til we leave for the beach!! Of course everyone is soo excited especially my girls! We have been to the beach every year since Makenna was born, so it is a tradition that we take at least 1 family beach vacation every year! Ryleigh (my 3 yr old) asks everyday is it beach time yet?? I say no we leave saturday morning and then is it Saturday? She is in that wanting to know everything stage! I love it she is soo adorable.. Makenna my 9 year old (I cant believe she is 9 already!!) Is sooo ready as well!! She is picking out her wardrobe to take to the beach. My mission this year is to PACK LIGHT! every year I over pack clothing wise and this year I'm going to pack 2 nice outfits each all of our bathing suits (us girls have at least 4 a piece) and then some lounging around clothes since I wash clothes and towels constantly while we are there..
