Makenna had the privledge of having a wonderful teacher this year.. One of the best so far!! Thanks Mr. Miller for all you have done for you students! This is there end of year talent show and since they are the Miller's Thriller's isnt it appropriate to do the Thriller? Makenna is in the front row in green hat and white shorts.. Enjoy!!

OK OK so this isn't set in stone yet, nor has the offer been made but I would love to here different opinions on this (Jennifer, I know yours) LOL. So, after much consideration my husband quit his job a couple of weeks back to go into another line of work, now he has been in the transmission industry for well over 9 years now so this is what he knows(like the back of his hand). Anyway he is now in his new position and and having to learn to love the office environment ( he used to be southeast sales so needless to say he was on the road ALOT!) it is taking some getting used to on his part. Well he gets a call in the last week or so from his old companies competitor asking him alot of questions and wanting to know if they could meet with him to possible offer him a HUGE position and double his salary to move to (drum roll).................ALABAMA!!!! Makennas 1st day of 3rd grade (above) Makennas last day of 3rd grade! (above) I was looking back at pictures of Makenna's 1st day of 3rd grade and and then looking at her last day of 3rd grade and wow how much she has grown in 1 school year. You dont notice the changes they go through because you see them everyday but all I can say is wow... Im posting both pictures.

Well I took her to ego hr yesterday and there wasnt much they could really do for her without really cutting her hair off so lets just say she will be wearing barrets and hair bows on that side of her head for awhile!! 1st and foremost Happy 9 th Birthday today to my baby girl Makenna !! She is growing way too fast!! We love you baby girl!! We are having a small get together at my house tonight with family for her birthday and presents, next weekend will be her get together with all her friends for a sleepover party!! Our weekend was eventful... Friday evening we hung around the house and didn't do a whole lot so that was nice.. Saturday we got up and after a long hard decision we decided to get rid of our gas guzzling Tahoe :( I hate that the gas prices are going through the roof I loved the Tahoe but its time to be more practical.. So my mom kept the girls and Rob and I headed to Greensboro (we don't like dealing with dealerships in W-S) We went to Crown Honda to find a new car and we found one!! We came on with a 2006 Honda Accord!! Its really nice and I love the way it drives although I will miss the roominess of my Tahoe especially come beach time!!! But we will manage and pack light! 2

Ok so its not like I had a bad morning everything actually went smoothly this morning for once... It is one of those mornings where you look in the mirror and no matter how good your husband or kids or anyone thinks you look you feel like UUGGG.. I swear I dont know if its because Im getting older but my body is changing I feel like doo... LOL my makeup doesnt look right my hair is flat my clothes feel tight or they just dont fit like I want them too.. I thought this year I was doing pretty good until last night.. I put a bathing suit on that I found in my drawer that I bought on clearance last year and it fit pretty good... Last night not so good.. it was tight around my back and just looked so blah.. why is it when I was younger I didnt enjoy my body better? So yesterday was just another boring day same as every other work day waiting for 4:30 to get here so I can get out of here and pick up my girls, go home and relax.... Well I thought anyways!! So its 4:30 im happy ready to go pick up Ryleigh she is my 1st stop.. so I go into daycare and they are in the basement of the church watching movies since it was so hot and couldnt go out to play.. It seems like just yesterday I brought my oldest baby Makenna home from the hospital so small sweet and innocent...I remember the day like it was yesterday, we came home and sat her car seat in the middle of the floor and just sat around her and said now what??? No instructions and no clue on what to do now.. I mean yes all my motherly instincts had kicked in and knew what to do, it was just 3 of us now instead of 2.. so it was definitely different!! She was my baby girl and in my mind my one and only child I would ever have...I was wrong and I'm glad I was wrong but that's another blog.. So of course we put all our attention on her she was #1 in the family now!! She was also the 1st grand baby , and great grand baby as well so she had lots of love and attention.. I had another long fun filled weekend! Friday Rob and I took the day off to spend with Makenna , her school had a full day of Field Day.. When I was younger I don't remember field day being this big of an event well let me tell you at her school it is a HUGE event! I think that every parent of every student was there on this day, the parking lots were filled to the max and more!! Since this is her new school and all we had no idea of what to expect, parents bringing tarps and blankets at 8 in the morning along with there coolers to get a good spot on the field. Vienna makes this a big "family" day. We thoroughly enjoyed this day and watching Makenna in her element at school.. I'm so glad we moved she has had such a great year and a great teacher this year!!
