I am a HUGE fan of Sex and the City, So when they announced there was a movie coming out I along with many others was excited!! I have watched this show from the beginning to the end I laughed I cried and enjoyed every minute and every season. It was a Sunday night ritual of mine every Sunday I stayed up late just to watch this show (I am an early bird) so this is unusual for me! A couple of friends and I have decided that we are going out to see this movie Saturday night and then out to eat afterwards but this isn't going to be any normal girls night out, we are each dressing as one of the characters and I have been chosen to dress as Samantha. This is not a normal for me I do not dress racey at all but this night I have a cute short little red dress with some shiny black heels! This should be interesting but fun all at the same time!! Our weekend was very uneventful.. Friday afternoon as the day drug on at work we were told we could leave early!! WOO HOO we were all happy for a paid leave and a great start to a long weekend. A couple friends and I left work and went to a new store in town called Steve & Barry's and let me just tell you I FELL IN LOVE!! This place is awesome, everything (YES EVERYTHING) in the store is $8.98 and this wasn't just cheaply made clothing either this is nice well made lines of clothing... They carry the Sarah Jessica Parker line which I love!! so anyway I spent at least an hour and a$100 bucks in there but came out with alot and new found store!! I went home and told my husband, of course he didn't believe me at how nice this place was so we ventured back out there on Sat. morning as well.... I cannot believe that it is almost summer this year has really flown by not even just since January but since the beginning of the school year. It seems like only 2-3 months ago we moved into our new home and its actually coming up on a YEAR! WOW! Makenna is almost finished out the school year in 3rd grade and she will be 9 in less than a month! and Ryleigh my baby will be 4 in September . What? Geez , I guess they were right the older you get the more time flys . It seems like when we were all little we couldn't wait for the summer and then we couldn't wait for that next birthday now if only we could slow the time down just a notch so we can keep our little ones babies just a little bit longer. I just hope the next 9 years don't fly by as fast as the 1st ones..

I had the privilege to celebrate Mothers day and my Birthday all on the same day this year. I had a great weekend... Friday evening my friend Jennifer, Ronnie and there little boy Evan came over for a visit to celebrate my bday a little early because it was such a hectic weekend for everyone! Jennifer and my girls made me a homemade birthday cake which was yummy!! Jennifer is the queen of sweets... Saturday Rob and I "spring" cleaned for the second time this year along with shampooing carpets (the works) nothing like the great feeling of a clean fresh smelling house!! As for Mothers day we all got up early and went off to cracker barrel YUMMY! We then came home and layed around for a couple hours before we went to my moms to celebrate mothers day with the whole family.. thats the great thing about my family we all get together for these occasions and have a great time!! Summer is creeping up and I am loving it!! Its almost time for our Yearly beach trip!! YEA.... Every year since our daughters were born we make it a point to take at least 1 family vacation and usually we end up at the beach. That's the beauty of living in the Carolina's beaches the the east and Mnt.s to the West. We have explored many beaches and come to the conclusion that we LOVE N. Topsail Island, it is so peaceful and quiet. As a family we love the quiet beaches where you can just sit back and relax and not have to fight for a spot on the beach or fight for a chair at the pool. There is not alot to do at this beach as there isn't alot of shops or restaurants, but thats what we love about it plus it save us $$ too! I think it is important to take time out of all of our busy schedules and spend one on one time as a whole. Yes we have every weekend but its the hussle and bussle of getting things done around the house and running here and running there, so we take the time
