Me My Life and More..

Well last weekend we drove to Pinnacle to pick strawberries, when we got there we were not able to pick them but were able to buy 3 boxes which is 3 gallons!! That's a lot of strawberries! Of course both girls had there hands full eating them as we drove back home.. So we went ahead and cleaned and cut them all up and I attempted to for the 1st time to make strawberry jam! I used the recipe on the sure gel pectin box I thought this was going to be pretty hard work but really it wasn't just a lot of prep work!! I didn't have a canning rack or a canning pot so I used a large stock pot with a rack in the bottom to set my jars in for the boiling of my jars.. I was worried that I wasn't doing it right but when I started pulling the jars out and setting them on my counter to cool I kept hearing a ping, ping, ping noise which apparently from what I have read on google is a good sound!! so I think I really did it!!! ahh I'm so proud!! now I just cant wait to taste my o

                         

                       

Well I have to say I had a wonderful weekend... Friday I went to see Makenna at school for her reading program which was great and so sweet.. I love seeing my girls in there elements at school.. Friday evening we went to Waldo's to eat wings which were alright but I have to say with my husband being such the chef that he is, his wings are MUCH BETTER!! Needless to say we wont be going back anytime soon.. I love that Rob loves to cook!! Saturday we cleaned up around the house and got all the yardwork done! I got an early Mothers day/ Bday present a new Canon DSLR.. I just have to say I LOVE IT!!! I love taking pictures of my family Im a pictureholic.. if thats even a word!! of course Im at work so I dont have the pictures to post but I will post some! We ralaxed most rest of the day and went to my moms and watched Bride Wars.. I loved it.. So funny, Yet so sweet!! Sunday, Mothers day we spent the day with my mom and the rest of my family.. Ok so all of you know I was having a yard sale this weekend.. Well we started Friday around 8am until around 1pm, then started all over again on Saturday morning around 7am until 2pm and then packed it all up and sent it to goodwill!!! I was not bringing it back in the house!!! That was my goal!! Well we made....... Drum roll............ $931 OMG I couldn't believe it I had to count it 4 times!!!! WOW.. Best yard sale I think we have ever had!!!! SO our beach vacation is paid in full and then have some left over to pay on some credit cards!! Awesome I am so excited!!
